A joint Municipal Elections Compliance Audit Committee (MECAC) has been established by the Region of Waterloo, Cities of Cambridge, Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo and Townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich.
Apply to be a committee member before July 13, 2026.
Applications can be submitted to the Region of Waterloo through their Compliance Audit Committee page.
The Nomination filing period is now open and nominations will be accepted from May 1 until August 21 at 2:00 p.m.
Members of the public can view candidates who have filed on the Nominations and Certified Candidate Profile page.
