Cambridge Celebration of The Arts
Cambridge Celebration of the Arts takes place each year on Father's Day weekend. This year the celebration is expanding to a two-day festival! For more than 20 years, the event has showcased local artists and their visual, literary, and performing arts talent.
There are performing stages in Civic Square and Market Square, a literary stage inside Historical Galt City Hall and the visual art gallery is on display throughout the main floor of City Hall.
The event attracts approximately 5,000 people and features activities like crafts, giant games, vendors, exhibits, food and beverage vendors and so much more!

Enjoy local restaurants and market vendors on site. You will not want to miss Art Attic at the Cambridge Centre for the Arts in support of the Cambridge Arts Guild, be sure to drop in. The Cambridge Fire Hall Museum will be open for learning and fun. Visit the Cambridge 50+ Woodworkers Shop for a tour and information on woodworking.

Community installation
InSpire Cambridge: A Celebration of the Arts Community Art Installation
Thank you to everyone in the community who helped to create the large collaborative art installation made of over 60 unique vertical pieces. The installation will be on display in the City Hall Atrium during the event.
What to expect at the celebration
- Over 50 professional, local and amateur artists showcasing their talents in music, poetry and visual arts
- Come hungry! Food vendors and restaurants will be on-site
- Two free parking lots are available - Beverly/Wellington Street Parking Lot & Cambridge City Hall Parking Lot
- Rain or shine event
- Enjoyment for all ages
- Free admission
- Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from our beverage partner

Road Closure
Please note Dickson Street will be closed to traffic between Ainslie Street and Wellington Street beginning on Friday, June 19 at 7 a.m. until Saturday, June 20 at 11:59 p.m. The Farmers Market parking lot will be closed for the same duration.
Are you interested in volunteering at the event?
Volunteer shifts:
Friday June 19:
- Set up shift: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Event shift: 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday June 20:
- Set Up/Event: 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Event Shift Half day: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Tear down crew: 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The minimum age to volunteer is 13 years of age. Volunteer duties can include: event setup, takedown, information booth, volunteer helper, and event greeter. Volunteering with Celebration of the Arts is a great way to collect volunteer hours and give back to your community.
